This client is a state K-12 school. Our job was to develop not only a logo and accompanying print materials, such as report cards, envelopes and official stationery but also a uniform for the student body.

The first thing that caught my attention was the difficulty in finding a theme. As every school run by the government here in Brazil, the names given to them are to honor someone. These names tend to be long and hard to remember. The name "Luz" stood out, since in Portuguese it means light, and symbolically light can be associated to knowledge! So I started working on an image that could be used proudly by children and adolescents as a symbol of their alma mater.

The logo was applied and used as a decorative element in all materials.
